With these characters. There is something about the work that the team at Studio Violet (Camilla Engman and Elisabeth Dunker) are doing, that is just so special. I especially love their quirky porcelain range- it is ridiculously amazing!!!
Some pretty pictures! These prints by Tabitha Emma are just so sweet! Although I like birds and cupcakes a lot- that bambi is just the best thing I have seen all week!
While writing the post on crochet earlier today, I was reminded of an artist I came across last year - her name is Emily Barletta, and if anyone can do innovative and unusual things with crochet, it is her. I particularly like these colourful sea anemone pieces.
What an amazing art! After visiting Japan and buying a cute little book and all the supplies, I gave it a try - let's just say it is much more challenging than you might think, and definitely not for those with an irrational fear of fluff! Victor Dubrovsky has some serious skill!
More and more I am starting to wish that I could crochet, the possibilities for creating new and exciting projects are quite ridiculous! Margaret Oomen is one of those people doing amazing work with crochet - it doesn't have to be all granny doilies and tray cloths!
