This past month has been a very busy time- as well as my felt brooches, I have been working on an exclusive line of headpieces and brooches for Tinsel (a very cool jewelry shop in Joburg). They are aimed at brides and those who like a touch of the over the top! If you are unable to visit their store or have something specifically in mind, just let me know (sara@luckyou.co.za) and I will happily make you something special.
For all you lucky people in Joburg, milisuthando bongela is curating a selection of South African designers at the Jozi food market in Parktown north, so be sure to show your support and use this opportunity to stock up on Luckyou brooches!!!
If you are in the mood to make things- check out this tutorial on a field journal, if you are not in the mood to make things, then just stare longingly at these beaut pics!
I am not one to wear a lot of jewelry but I do enjoy puting something special in my hair, especially something beautifully hand crafted, one of these treasures would do just fine!
I really wish we could get treasures like these in South Africa, I guess I will have to find a way to order one of these beauties from nest pretty things.
Here are a few things I have made recently- A necklace for my friend Amber's birthday, A very granny hair band for myself and a couple of little badges for my friend Jo's birthday- her pictures were better than mine so I hope she doesn't mind me using them here, check out her fantastic blog Coelho culture.
